DISTRIBUTION INFRASTRUCTURE
From the plant room to every approved clinical outlet.
A medical gas pipeline system links the source plant to wards, theatres, ICU, recovery and other clinical areas. The website now presents the distribution network as an engineered system rather than simply “copper piping.”
Pipeline reticulation
Risers, branches, supports, routing, identification and coordinated installation through service zones, ceiling voids and clinical areas.
Zone isolation
Area valve service units / zone valve boxes positioned to support safe isolation and maintenance of defined clinical areas.
Alarm systems
Plant and area alarm interfaces for system status and pressure conditions, coordinated with the approved project design.
Terminal units
Clinical point-of-use outlets selected and located in accordance with the healthcare brief and approved drawings.
Specialised services
Nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, AGSS, surgical air or nitrogen where required by the approved clinical scope.
Retrofit work
Phased modifications and extensions planned around existing hospital services, clinical continuity and agreed shutdown windows.
Typical documentation
Layouts, schematic information, equipment and valve schedules, identification strategy, test records, commissioning documents and as-built information can be incorporated into the project handover requirements.
